Carateu was founded by Raiha Buchanan and David Hansson to bring a more transparent and personal approach to buying certified diamonds and fine jewellery.

Drawing on backgrounds in gemology, regulated industries, and building trusted businesses, we created Carateu around the principles we believe matter most: independent expertise, transparent pricing, and personal guidance from enquiry to delivery.

Every certified diamond is independently reviewed by a qualified gemologist in Stockholm before it is dispatched.
