Who we are
Raiha Buchanan is a trained gemologist with a deep understanding of diamonds and the global supply chain. She completed her gemological studies in Surat, India, one of the world's leading diamond hubs.
Raiha and David bring more than a decade of experience building and scaling regulated businesses in fintech and financial infrastructure.
Together, they founded Carateu to create a modern European diamond and fine jewellery house built on transparency, expertise and personal service.
