Preferences, not just numbers
You are welcome to share preferred proportions, measurements or other specifications. We consider these as part of your overall brief rather than treating every number as a strict sourcing requirement.
Certificate information is an important screening tool, but it cannot fully predict how a diamond will look. Our recommendations combine grading information with gemological judgement, visual priorities and the available inventory.
If you would like to refine our initial selection, the most helpful feedback concerns appearance—for example, preferring a more elongated shape, a different size or less visible bow-tie—rather than a new list of certificate parameters.
Expert verification before delivery
Every diamond offered by Carateu is independently certified and verified before shipment.
Your diamond is gemologist inspected in Stockholm, Sweden and checked against its grading report, certificate number and identifying characteristics before being released for delivery.
Orders are shipped from within the European Union, with VAT handled upfront and no unexpected import duties for customers within the EU.
